Autumn Foliage Spots

Autumn Colors

Let's enjoy the fall foliage!

Autumn at Senjojiki, where beautiful autumn colors cascade down from the mountaintop to the foothills.
It begins with the “grass autumn colors”—the subtle hues of alpine plants—and from late September through early October, you can enjoy a picturesque landscape featuring the red of Mountain ash, the yellow of Japanese White birch, the green of Japanese stone pine, and the dramatic rock faces. Around mid-October each year, the first snow typically falls in the Senjojiki Cirque. Depending on the timing, you can witness a fantastical “three-tiered autumn foliage” display featuring “snow at the summit,” “autumn colors on the mountainside,” and “green trees at the base.”
