Until just the other day, Senjojiki Cirque and the ropeway section were treating visitors to beautiful autumn foliage, but the cold has set in quickly. Currently, the best viewing area has shifted down to the section served by the local bus route, stretching from Shirabidaira Station at the base of the ropeway to the Komagane Highlands. Regarding the local bus service, due to road repair work on weekdays, passengers are asked to get off the bus at the construction zone and walk about 100 meters to transfer to the next bus. Since the autumn foliage is so beautiful, you may find that the walk adds to the charm of the experience and makes for a pleasant journey. There is currently snow on the ground at Senjojiki Cirque. As we are entering the season when snowy landscapes become particularly beautiful, we hope you will also enjoy the majestic mountain scenery of the winter mountains. It has become very cold, so please be sure to dress warmly when you visit. Also, for those planning to hike, please ensure you have the proper safety gear, a solid plan, and never push yourself beyond your limits. We sincerely apologize, but today marks the final update on this year’s fall foliage information; however, we hope you will continue to check our website for new updates in the future. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
