At Central Alps Tourism, we are committed to the SDGs through a variety of initiatives, guided by our mottos: “Preserving the grandeur of nature for future generations” and “Valuing our connections with our local community and the people around us.”
We actively incorporate mountaineering into our curriculum, using it not only as an opportunity to learn about the importance of nature, but also to foster personal growth in areas such as teamwork and leadership.
Here, you can experience the “living Earth”—from changes in vegetation caused by differences in elevation to the ever-changing night sky—things we often overlook in our daily lives.
Breathe in and out. Walk and rest. Face the mountains and gaze upon them. Cherish the flora and fauna. We aim to create an environment where you can refresh both body and mind.
By utilizing and providing natural spring water—a gift from the mountains—you can truly appreciate the importance of water resources.
We are working to protect ptarmigans by establishing restricted access areas, using mats to protect plants, and collaborating with nature conservation organizations.
We provide eco-friendly biomass plastic bags and paper spoons, and ask visitors to the mountains to take their trash home with them.
We provide guides and signage in several languages so that tourists from other countries can also use our services.
To ensure that all our guests can enjoy their visit, we provide assistance with boarding buses and ropeway, as well as wheelchair rentals.
We contribute to the further revitalization of Komagane City by planning and participating in local events, as well as carrying out road maintenance and cleanup activities.
