The Komagatake Ropeway makes the Central Alps accessible not only to experienced mountain climbers, but also to those taking on their first mountain adventure. Senjojiki Cirque, a remarkable alpine landscape beneath towering rocky peaks, can be reached from Komagane Station in about one hour by Route Bus and ropeway. The Central Alps also offer challenging routes for experienced climbers, including the renowned traverse connecting Mount Utsugi, Mount Kumazawa, Mount Hinoo, Mount Hoken, and Mount Kiso-Komagatake.
