Transportation contracts relating to the ordinary ropeway operations managed by our company shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions of Carriage; matters not provided for herein shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations or general commercial practices.\n<\/p>\t\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Persons who are heavily intoxicated, children not accompanied by a guardian, or others deemed to pose a safety risk during transport.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Persons and luggage carrying items prohibited from being brought onto ropeway under the Railway Business Act.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

When transportation is disrupted due to natural disasters or other unavoidable circumstances.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In the event of transportation disruptions caused by weather, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances, we may limit passenger capacity or cargo weight, or suspend service.\n<\/p>\t\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n

We sell general tickets at our own ticket offices and authorized sales locations, and group tickets and discount tickets at our directly operated ticket offices. In addition, ship and train tickets issued by contracted travel agencies must be exchanged for our tickets at the ticket office at the station of departure.\n<\/p>\t\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n

Group tickets are sold upon request to passengers who are part of a group of a certain size or larger traveling together on the same itinerary, provided that a representative or tour guide handles the payment for the entire group.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Student group tickets are available to individuals who meet the requirements of the preceding paragraph, specifically: students at schools as defined in Article 1 of the School Education Act; children at childcare facilities as defined in Article 39-2 of the Child Welfare Act; and students at vocational schools and other specialized schools, as well as their accompanying persons (including faculty and staff, contracted doctors and nurses, and any other personnel necessary to maintain order and ensure safety during group activities).\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The fares and charges collected by our company from passengers or shippers, as well as the methods for their application, are based on the separately posted schedule of fares and charges and the applicable methods that have been filed with and approved by the Director of the Bureau of Transportation; they are also posted at each station.\n<\/p>\t\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n

If a passenger mistakenly purchases the wrong ticket, and our staff confirms this fact, and provided that the ticket is still valid and unused, we will exchange it for the type of ticket the passenger requests. In such cases, we will compare the fare already collected with the fare for the exchanged ticket, collect any shortfall, and refund any excess amount. However, a prescribed handling fee will be charged in accordance with our refund policy.\n<\/p>\t\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\n<\/div>\n

If we change our fares, tickets issued prior to the change will remain valid for the duration of their validity period, regardless of the fare printed on the ticket, and we will not charge or refund any difference from the original fare. The Company shall be liable for damages resulting from injury to the life or body of a passenger caused by the operation of the regular ropeway managed by the Company.
However, this shall not apply if we or our staff can prove that we exercised due care in the operation of the cable car, that the passenger or a third party other than our staff acted with intent or negligence, or that there were no structural defects or operational malfunctions.\n<\/p>\t\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

(Liability for Personal Belongings, etc.)<\/h6>\n

The Company shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the loss or damage of passengers\u2019 personal belongings, clothing, eyeglasses, watches, or other personal items in connection with the operation of the regular ropeway managed by the Company.
However, this shall not apply if the Company or its employees are at fault for such loss or damage.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
