The section between Kurokawadaira and Shirabidaira on mountain road is closed to all private car full year.
Please get to the Ropeway Shirabidaira Station by transferring to the local ropeway bus or taxi.

By what time do we have to catch the bus and the Ropeway if we are to take a day trip to Senjojiki?
Please use them at least one hour before the last bus.
Where do we transfer from the expressway bus to the local bus?
If you get off the expressway bus at Komagane IC Bus Stop, then board the local bus at Nyotai-iriguchi Bus Stop.
If you get off the expressway bus at the downtown Komagane Bus Terminal, then board the local bus at Suzuran-dori Bus Stop.

When are the alpine flora the most beautiful?
The alpine flora at Senjojiki are said to be the most beautiful from mid-July to late-August, although the time can vary a little with the rainfall during the rainy season or the like.

When can we enjoy the autumnal colors the most?
The time for autumnal tints is determined by the hours of sunshine and morning and evening chills of the year. So it varies from year to year, but the autumnal coloring begins at the mountain tops in middle of September. You can enjoy it until late November as it descends to the Senjojiki cirque, the mountainsides as seen from the aerial tramway, Shirabidaira, the local bus route, and finally to Komagane-kogen Highlands Suganodai.
When does snow start falling?
The snowcaps may appear mid-October at the earliest, and it’s midwinter in December.
Is the Ropeway operating in winter?
The Ropeway is operating year round. (Operation may be suspended in the instances of severe weather or the like, however.)
Can we take our pets with us?
From the viewpoint of nature conservation, no pets are allowed on the bus to the Ropeway and in the Ropeway cabin.

You will be asked to pay the cancel charge from 3 days before the booked date.
20% of normal rate from 3 days before booked date, 50% on the day If you have to cancel your booking, please let the hotel desk know 4 days or more before the booked date.
