■Outline of the Hotel

The Cirque terrain was carved out by glaciers over 20,000 years ago. Japan’s most famous cirque is the Senjoujiki Cirque. Atop this cirque sits the Hotel Senjoujiki which also houses the ropeway station, making it the highest station in Japan. Operating spring, summer, autumn and winter, this hotel provides spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, allowing visitors to fully experience nature.

Rooms with either a Central Alps, or Southern Alps outlook are available. The Central Alps side affords spectacular views of the “Houken” and the Senjoujiki Cirque, while the Southern Alps side offers both views of the Southern Alps stretching away to the north and south, as well as views of the lights of Komagane City at night.
